According to sources, Chot Reyes has been chosen by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) or Basketball Federation of the Philippines to pilot the next incarnation of the Philippine National Basketball team.

Rajko Toroman won't be the coach of the national team, but he isn't saying goodbye to Philippine basketball just yet. Toroman's contract with SMART-Gilas ended last October, and the coach revealed that he received no offer from the SBP, effectively ending his tenure with the national squad.
