MANILA, Philippines – Jo-Anne Baruga scored the game's only goal as University of Santo Tomas won the UAAP women's football title back with a 1-0 victory over La Salle Sunday at the Ateneo pitch. Baruga scored a header in the 67th minute off a cross by Maria Christine Fuentes to power the Tigresses to their second title overall. The win was UST's first championship since 2009.
